The Hartford Courant has editorialized twice this week in favor of the Governor's Recycling Bill.

Twice is nice!

On Tuesday, after a couple conversations with us, the Hartford Courant editoriliazed in support of the Governor’s Recycling Bill, Senate Bill 27. Today, they did so again, listing it as one of the bills that should pass in the last week of the legislative session.

Despite widespread support from advocacy groups, city and town leaders, and many legislators, the bill still hasn’t been brought up for a vote in either chamber. As it is a Senate Bill, the Senate needs to act on it before the House can.

You can help by calling your state Senator and asking for their support, and for them to contact Senate leadership to ask that the bill be called for a vote. If you are not sure who your legislator is, you can look it up here.
