Kate Cohen is ConnPIRG's state director. She is responsible for program and organizational development, research, and legislative advocacy for ConnPIRG. Prior to becoming state director, Kate was a campaign organizer with CoPIRG in Colorado for two years. In Colorado, she primarily worked on public health and nonpartisan voter registration work with our New Voters Project. Before that, she got her start in organizing with an internship at Corporate Accountability International in Boston, where she helped get bottled water out of our national parks.
Kate is originally from Vermont and graduated from Brandeis University in 2014 with degrees in History and Philosophy.
