Saving Connecticut’s small donor program

ConnPIRG members and supporters stood up to save Connecticut’s landmark small donor empowerment program when lawmakers threatened to eliminate it. ConnPIRG organized phone banks across the state, organized a press conference, and helped hundreds of members call or email their legislators. In just three days, we built enough support to force lawmakers to preserve the program.
